Well, for the last few nights we have been timing my contractions. They get pretty consistant at 10 minutes apart for a few hours and each night they get more intense. Then I get comfortable and fall asleep and we never go to the hospital!
Yesterday was Katie's birthday so I joined her at the spa! I had the pregnancy massage and the therapist worked on the trigger points that can start labor. That was yesterday and I'm not in labor, yet!
Tonight the tropical storm named Hanna is coming to Virginia. A few people have said that maybe the pressure system from the storm will induce my labor. Wouldn't it be fun to drive 30 miles to the hospital with all that rain and wind? Maybe if we have a girl we could name her Hanna.
I also wonder if God has delayed the birth of this baby just to give my mom a few mores days to feel better. She's had a stomach bug for about a week. Each day we hope and pray that she'll get better.
I trust God's timing. He guided us last weekend to not buy a new mini van. We thought we had a buyer for the Jetta and that fell thru.
Once again I go back to Isaiah 25:1 and I know that God does marvelous things. He is faithful. He has a plan. We will continue to praise Him while we wait.
